Nancy Leu is a policy advisor who specializes in state and federal affairs, policing/public safety reform commissions, and federal grants. For nearly a decade, she worked in the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, on the Citizens' Commission on Jail Violence (that investigated deputy-on-inmate excessive use of force in LA County jails), as well as the blue ribbon commission which examined the security at LAX International Airport.

She is a graduate of the Master of Public Policy program from the USC Price School of Public Policy, where she focused on homeland security. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to attending graduate school, she worked at the J. Paul Getty Trust, the Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, and on securities class actions for most of the largest billion dollar settlements in history, including Enron and WorldCom.
