Nancy Leu is a policy advisor who specializes in state and federal affairs, policing/public safety reform commissions, and homeland security grants. For nearly a decade, she worked in the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office, on the Citizens' Commission on Jail Violence (that investigated deputy-on-inmate excessive use of force in LA County jails), as well as the blue ribbon commission which examined the security at LAX International Airport.

She is a graduate of the Master of Public Policy program from the USC Price School of Public Policy, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to attending graduate school, she worked at the J. Paul Getty Trust, the Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, and on class actions for eight of the largest billion dollar securities settlements in history, including Enron, WorldCom, Tyco International and Cendant Corporation.
